About us
Moonee Valley Legal Service (MVLS) is an independent, community managed, non-profit organisation.
Moonee Valley Legal Service was established in 1985 as the Essendon Community Legal Centre by a group of residents and representatives from local organisations. For many years, the service was operated solely by local volunteers.
In September 2009, the service renamed itself to Moonee Valley Legal Service to better reflect the local community.
